Field Sales Executive

A well established and growing UK transport and logistics provider is looking to appoint a confident and driven Field Sales Executive to support continued business growth. This is a new business focused role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, and developing long term client partnerships.

 

The business is open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience, from sales professionals who thrive on self generated leads to those with a strong background in haulage and logistics and an established client network.

 

The Role

• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
• Conduct face to face meetings and presentations to understand customer needs and promote tailored logistics solutions
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow up and conversion
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and account plans
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients

 

About You

• Minimum 2 years field sales experience within transport, haulage, or logistics
• Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of logistics operations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self motivated, results driven, and comfortable working independently
• Confident in self generating leads, including proactive face to face activity
• Full UK driving licence
